Leaving a legacy
Leaving a gift in your will is a simple way of helping us. If you are considering this then you will need to write a will. You can talk to your solicitor about how to do this. An example of the wording you may wish to use is given below:
“I give (e.g a percentage share) the residue of my estate to (Charity name, registered charity number) of (address) for its charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Honorary treasurer or other proper officer of (charity name) shall be a sufficient discharge of said legacy”
