In addition the charity has supported a number of other projects. This has included assisting earlier appointments consultants at both hospitals with additional financial support. It is reported additional nursing staff including a research nurse. It supported the initial set up of pulmonary rehabilitation in 2000 when this service was not provided in many places in the country. He provided support for pulmonary rehabilitation in the community. It made a donation towards equipment elsewhere in the hospital including a CT scan.
